Officially starting

Well I have just finished up a couple of hectic weeks. The US Open of supercross was 2 weekends ago but the weeks, hell months, leading up to it were nuts. We held our annual Poker tournament at the MGM and this years tournament was better than ever. We got hooked up with a local company called Greesie wheels, they put on charity poker tournamets all over the world, and throughout the year they have been inviting Jimmy to play in charity tournaments up in Vegas. Most of the players are fans of Supercross and have been excited to have a past factory rider playing at thier tournaments. It has allowed for alot of great networking. So when it cam time for our tournament alot of them said "hell yeah we"ll be there". This was alot being that there was a tournament that week in Aruba and most of them flew directly to Vegas afterwards. I won't go into much detail but the Final heads up battle was between Jeff Madsen and Tiffany Michelle. Tiffany pulled it out.

We treated all the players that played in the tournament to a VIP weekend at the Open. Tiffany got the full treatment with a tour thru the L&M Factory Rig. I can't say enough about these guys. They fly all over the world playing poker for a living and are just down to earth and fun to be around.

When we got back, Monday was a big day. We first had to take Oakley, our Boxer, to the vet to have knee surgery. He has some ligament issues, but instead of doing like an ACL surgurey, they go in and reshape the knee joint to make it more stable. He's home now but has 8 weeks of recovery. Yeah, this is going to be fun

Well the biggest news is that Christy and I are officially in the baby making mode. We've been practicing for 8 years and I think we have it down so it's time to see what happens. We bought the new house last year with the intent on starting a family and things are starting to fall in place. We still own our other home which was the big issue with starting but we've had good luck with keeping it rented so I guess we'll go for it. Fortunately with the economy the way it is rentals are doing pretty well in Indiana. We have a new nephew that is 8 months old and have been watcing him quite a bit getting used to what it may be like. It's awesome to see Christy with a baby, she is so natural with it. I have to say that I have changed my tune quite a bit, I never really wanted kids but as I am getting older I want one around.

Ful Speed ahead,

cb
